I grew up on a farm in rural Iowa, marveling at the beautiful Midwest sunsets that inspired my creative vision. With the help of a few mentors (you know who you are) I honed my craft through studying the principles of art and elements of design from a young age.

My love of art drew me to photography. I worked as a photographer for Professor Bellows (Altoona, Ia) through my high school and college summers. In college I bought my first DSLR and majored in photography and graphic design. Class after class, I found myself falling in love with the creative art of photography.
